obviously nada

Obviously Nada is the meditative, musical exploration of St. Louis-based multi-instrumentalist and producer, Kevin Koehler. As a practicing yogi himself, Koehler integrates Eastern influences into his music to encourage a mindful awareness and a meditative focus on movement.

Through his participation in the Hatha Yoga practice, background in audio, and lifelong love of music, Koehler learned that Nada Yoga was another branch of the Yoga tree, which focuses on attaining “union through sound”.

En·trance, the full-length album from Obviously Nada, makes familiar stylistic touchstones in folk, "indie" rock, and classical music, while simultaneously introducing more worldly tonalities—sounds you might hear if you were transported to the royal courts of India centuries ago.
