Obviously Offbeat is led by St. Louis-based producer/engineer and multi-instrumentalist, K. Koehler. “Indie psych power pop,” or more simply put, Rock and Fuckin’ Roll, dominates the overall sound created in this project, a collective which will leave no stone unturned in its search for a better and more dynamic sound.

Phrases like “alt-Americana” and “psychedelic indie-pop” were used to describe the sound of the self-released ‘Infinite Will’ (July 2021), which was written, performed, and produced entirely by Koehler.
This time around, Koehler is joined by Justin DiCenzo on bass and Steve Larson on drums for the louder and fuzzier 2023 follow-up, ‘Antifragility’.
